Informations about the maps


The maps have been established using different types of original maps to include maximum of informations. They are :

1)

The navy charts of the hydrographic services from différent countries, mainly from the
Service Hydrographique et Océanographique de la Marine (France), Admiralty
(Great-Britain), the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (U.S.A.),
the Hydrographic Service of Royal Australian Navy (Australia), etc...

2)

The topographical landmaps established by official survey services : Institut
Géographique National (France), Ordnance Survey (GB), D.O.S.L.I. (Australia), etc...,
as well as commercial maps like : Allmaps Canada, Bartholomew, Hema Maps,
International Travel Maps, Nelles Verlag, Periplus Editions, Rand McNally, etc...

3)

The aerial charts edited by the Service de l'Information Aéronautique or by A.S.E.C.N.A.
(France) or by JEPPESEN (U.S.A.)

These maps should not be used for navigation, but for consultation only. They are visible on the screen in bitmap or PDF format. You also can download their PDF format version. They all fit in an A4 size page.
